Immunisations are provided in the surgery by practice nurses. Children will get invited for the first vaccinations at 8 weeks old and will receive invitations for further immunisations as they are offered by NHS Wales.

Introduction From January 2026, the chickenpox vaccine is now part of the routine childhood vaccination programme. It is replacing the MMR vaccine and will be offered as a combined MMRV vaccine at 12 and 18 months, protecting young children from measles, mumps, rubella and chickenpox.
